Brian Byrd teams up with Dr. Hank to work on some of the practice's more complicated cases. Using both veterinary medicine and farrier science to keep our companions sound, our clients have found this to be a very rewarding combination.
Brian was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Brian has always had a passion for working with horses which led to him to pursuing to become a farrier in 1999. He has since excelled in his field becoming a Certified Journeyman Farrier through the American Farriers Association in 2013. Brian joined the Lee Veterinary Clinic family in 2021, teaming up with Dr. Hank to provide our clients with the best care. At home, Brian has a wonderful wife named Candice, and two amazing children - Aidan and Katie. In his free time Brian enjoys being outdoors hunting or watching football with his family. We are so lucky to have such a passionate farrier who truly cares about his clients and patients.
